We know that traveling single can be so expensive; we have therefore put a stay together for you, if you are coming on your own, that will make it more affordable and still enable you to get out and about and see the sites.

Day 1 Siem Reap: Arrival

Arrive on your flight.

Arrive in Siem Reap where you will be met by a Unique Boutique representative and will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 Siem Reap: Angkor Wat, Village Tour, and Dinner Dance Show

After breakfast head to Angkor Wat in an air-conditioned car with your guide. Explore this majestic temple throughout the morning while it is still cool and has fewer tourists.

Enjoy lunch at Unique Boutique Hotel.

Set out on the Journeys Within Village Tour with our guide who will take you to his village, showing you rice paddies and typical homes along the way. Once there enjoy a fresh coconut drink and meet his family and neighbors. Walk from here to West Baray Lake where you can take a local boat around this picturesque area before returning to shore where your car will be waiting for you.

In the evening enjoy a traditional Khmer dinner and dance show put on by Raffles.

Day 3 Siem Reap: Angkor Thom and JWOC English Conversation Class

After breakfast head to Angkor Thom, the famous walled city, and see the many temples within its borders, including the fascinating Bayon temple with its many magnificent faces smiling out. Explore the different temples as your guide shows you detailed reliefs and hidden wonders.

At 3pm join one of Journeys Within Our Community’s (JWOC’s) free lessons. JWOC offers a wide variety of free classes to students who have the desire to learn, but lack the financial means to do so. Our drop-in conversation classes for adults welcomes the participation of native English speaking volunteers who play an extremely useful role assisting the teachers with speaking activities, providing a model for students who often have limited opportunity to hear and speak English in their everyday lives. No experience is necessary - your ability to speak English is the only qualification you need to help. Please arrive at 2.45pm before the class starts to meet the teacher and find out what you will be doing.

Day 4 Siem Reap: The Rolous Group and Tonle Sap Lake

Visit the Rolous Group, a group of Angkorean temples located 15 minutes outside of Siem Reap in a beautiful area.

After a rest or swim drive through rural Cambodia to the Tonle Sap Lake where you will take a boat ride to visit the floating village and a Cambodian fish farm. As the day ends choose to climb Phnom Krom and see the ancient ruins high on the hill and watch the sun set over the lake and rice fields below or relax and watch the sun disappear below the horizon from your boat on the lake.

Day 5 Siem Reap: Market and Artisans d'Angkor

Take a walk around the Old Market where the locals and tourists shop side by side. Then pay a visit to Artisans d’Angkor to see their workshop in town. Here you will be taken on a short tour to see the students learning the skills needed to produce works of art in a variety of different materials before visiting their beautifully displayed shop.

Enjoy lunch at local restaurant.

Spend the afternoon at your leisure.

Day 6 Siem Reap: Departure

Your driver will meet you at your hotel for your private transfer to the airport, where you will arrive in time for your onward flight.
